Came across similar article some time back while trying to do a search for "Good Karma"online. However, when I try to do the search again, I was unsucessful :(. No matter, I still manage to find similar one that says the same thing.

Even Though

Plans for 2009!

Ok... plans for the new year!


F E N G S H U I! I am setting up my home area to have better feng shui concept. Neighbor is so irritating. You want to keep plants, that is fine with me but at least keep it alive and not dead. Bad Feng Shui you know! Then there is also another thing is the star on the wall, gives me the creep. Can you create something other then a star on the war? It looks like you worship something other then God himself. I have no disrespect for other Gods but please don't do that. I creeps me out! Also, can you also clear the rubbish like the ballons you hang on the wall after christmas? Don't you know how to keep the area clean? Sigh some neighbors area so damn selfish!


Ok .. I still have a job! Still in Jurong Island but at least it is a permanent one already. My desk is still small and cramp but I still have a salary. So what can I say? Work real hard and be blind at things some people do.



I hope to travel some where. After 2 years of no travelling and stuck in Singapore, I am S I C K of it!

Christmas Day

This year's Christmas is a quiet one! I didn't put up the Christmas Tree in my home this year as I was afraid that my son will tear it down and there would go with all my decorations. This will also mean next year must buy new Christmas decorations. Now no need. Heeehhhe to that!

Gifts were handed out early this year without any wrapping. My girl broke the car I bought for my son for Christmas :(. So.. am thinking of buying one new one but will cost me :( :(

Stayed home for Christmas and had Marathon of Ghost Whisper show. Eat western food for dinner downstairs and for Christmas eve, my husband also cook something good. STEAK! Yum Yum... I am so full of satisfaction. Guess .. it is a season to be jolly... so I also consume quite a lot of chocolates to relax.

Today at office is peaceful!

Everybody took leave and I come to work to enjoy, P E A C E F U L N E S S! No management people here! No people I don't like here! No hypocrite people here either! Thank GOD! Lately have been busy with tons and tons of work. Finally, PHEW all done.

Company X'mas Party

Today was the company X'mas party. We had buffet which is ordered by me and gift exchange which I have to tag them. Although I never liked gift exchange due to sometimes people always get those funny toys and you may get something which you don't like. However, this year I didn't have anything to complain about. I wanted an organizer like every year and always hoping someone would give me one. Finally, when the managers throw out some organizer given by suppliers, I picked one I like and then gift exchange came another. Now I have a few organizer to keep. So how can I complain? A Christmas Wish come True is what I would say!

Not only did the Christmas Wish come True for me, it did for another colleague. My Boss gave away some night safari tickets and we turn it into a lucky draw. So what happen was this colleague was saying 'hope I get this so that I can bring someone with me' . It was a joke at that time but it came true. What are the odds of that! Santa at its job or was it an angel who was listening to our conversation?

Anyhow, we all have fun! I was quite full and didn't quite eat much except for the eclairs. My all time favorite! Got a special card from my boss with special thoughts that would forever keep for memory. Still, was surprise that I got a lucky draw. Altough wasn't the BIG bottle of red wine nor the white, I still get the packet of 'expensive' coffee powder. That was really something or enough for me. It shows that I do have some luck coming my way ;).

Count my Blessings

Although there are many in which I can't say I am Thankful for this year, I do considered as being BLESS.

First thing of all, although I lost friends/ a friend this year but I consider thankful in a way. The friend is no longer stressful to me. I suddenly felt that I have finally detach from the feeling of still longing to my ex-company. I think is becoz I am still grown attached to the old friends. It is blessing that I finally learn to move on. Knowledge gain

Second I have new colleagues to work with and understand them. Not forgetting a boss that is different from all the other bosses I have ever worked with.

Third I manage to spent the quality time with my family in doing the things they like even I though I travel to work far.

Fourth I have grown use to that I do not have to rush rush to work after I drop off my kids. Relax....and take it easy

Fifth despite all the friend lost, I still have a particular friend who always give me support in time of my very need, a shoulder to cry on, and also she does not judge me and help me to evaluate things clearly. Thanks Ms Tan.

On Leave - 5 Dec 2008

Last day of leave. Brought my kids over to the Marina Barrage to play with the water there again.

Not many people there today so went up to the second floor taking the leave to watch the gallery. Interesting!

Later the evening we went to Changi Airport to see the Terminal 3 and eat Popeyes. Yum yum... long time have not eaten since our trip to America which is 8 years ago.

Took the skytrain over to Terminal 3 and was expecting more to see as it is a new airport built but was disappointed to say that "There is nothing!" All the "can see things" are in the boarding area. However, I do admit the airport is big, clean, and really huge place to walk and have fun. No place for viewing planes taking off? Not even sure as we were there, the sky was already dark.

On Leave - 4th Dec 2008

Another plan for the day to spent quality time with my children would be tenting. Why I say tenting is becoz we are not staying overnight. We started the day with a cool whether but it later became raining.

We actually planned to tent at Pasir Ris Park but when we reach there, the drizzle came in and there weren't many sheltered area for us to tent out as teenagers were using it. So we moved our plan to somewhere else like in Changi Beach.

A bit wet though but it was cool and there was sea breeze. So cooling and relaxing. My husband set up the tent in the shelter and lucky not many people today camping and we get to have the shelter to ourselves.

My kids watching DVD while in the tent as it was raining heavily outside. Lucky we have the tent set up under shelter before the rain came. Now my girl cannot say we never go camping ;). Hahhaha

My husband started the BBQ when the fire was start, the rain came in again and grew heavier so he had to go into the tent for hiding. We thought our BBQ is ruined by the rain and we have nothing to eat :( but later when the rain stopped, my husband noticed that the BBQ pit was still burning so he continue to BBQ the food and enjoyed eating it while having the cool whether surrounding us. The one thing good about tenting in at Changi Beach is that you get to hear the planes fly buy. Noisy though but we enjoy watching pass above us and so did my kids.

On Leave - 3rd Dec 2008

Plan for the day was to bring both my children to watch the Barney show @ Lot1 in Choa Chu Kang. Need to catch the 1pm show as the next would be at 5pm or was it 7pm? Can't really recall it. Anyhow, was a bit too late then.

My girl enjoyed the show but my boy only lasted for awhile. He usually likes to watch Barney from the CD but seem to be impatient with the show.

Still waiting for my written fate to be OUT

What can be taking so long to decide you JERK! Don't sit on it lah! Let's get over with it. I am not getting any younger. Sickening having to wait and wait and wait.

So will it be written by end of this very week? I really have no idea but to wait and wait ... Sigh... this is so agitating and people are so agitating. & that is why sometimes we are filled by these much anger due to irritating people who aren't helpful to ease other people's pain but only think about themselves and I call these people selfish. They have the " think of others before yourself" concept in mind in whatever they try to do.

ARGHHHH... and the waiting continue!

My Colleague's Wedding Dinner

Last night went to my colleague's wedding dinner. It was lots of fun! Thank you colleague for inviting me ;0)!

The table at that was arranged to be seated by the management level people got few seats empty but I didn't went over to join them. Why should I? I like sitting in another table mix with people I don't know. That is how I can have fun and relax without having to bear in mind what I can say and what I cannot say. Besides, that table I was sitting also got many free sits (people who didn't show up). It means I got plenty to eat ... hahhaha ;0 ).

Later, two colleagues came to join me... Yippy .. the night begin. We had so much fun making jokes. I was a bit hurt at first by one of my colleague for saying that my 人缘 not good for not being invited to wedding dinners; told him that this was the first time being invited to wedding dinner by colleague. However, I didn't take it too hard as I find it stupid to be. To be invited means 人缘 good meh or does it mean that I got more $$$ to spent? They don't invite me even better I still happy. I don't have to buy dress and doll up to attend. So who is the silly one now? Anyhow, the truth is most of my friends are married already hardly any single friends I really know.

I was happy too coz my boss was there last night too and say I look pretty and achieve my plan. However, I think I do look a bit old though compare to young girls there. On the other hand, I do look good in the dress I imported from Thailand so all is not waste. I wore the 2-inch high shoe I bought from Charles and Keith. Heee... I was cool and didn't fall. PHEW to that!

Funny though, someone mistook me for being the bride as I kind of wore the same color with the bride... big laugh to that.. the old man must be drunk...! Ok.. manage to catch a ride from my colleague... so reach home about 12 am... Downside, I never take any photos while I was there. However, the evening is still Two Thumbs up!

Expensive Taxi Ride Ever

Today not feeling very well as my nose have been dripping the whole day and a fever came. So end of the day plan to take a cab back home and stop the toture for the whole day.

So I end up paying $33.00 with all the additional charge like peak hours and on call charges travelling from Jurong Island to Causeway Point. Sigh... the most expensive ride ever taken ever in my life. This will be first and the very last time I will ever take taxi from Jurong Island.

Judgement Day HERE!

Today is the judgement day as to who gets to go and who doesn't.

So .. today is when my fate for the next few years will be written. & I pray that God will not forsake me now and help me get through this. It is all in God's hands now!

Volunteer, Nobody Want?

Just last a few days ago I found a website that looks for volunteer virtually. So I located two in which I can help but until now still no news, 2 days past already? Is it they are not interested or they have not read the e-mail notification?

There was once I tried to call a university I attending in America to see if they needed any volunteer in this particular department and guess what they say? They say they don't accept volunteers. See .. even you want to pay back to society by helping out for free, no one wants your help.

Not only that.. once I learn from a friend that she wanted to donate some pretty good condition books but of not much great value to the local public library but the librian says that they don't accept donation. What are the odds of that? Donating good condition book to the public library so that others can use to read but it is not wanted nor appreciated. What is this world coming to?

A talent within Singaporean

And who would have guess it that the author of the Winx Club was a Singaporean? In the Today's newspaper, they interviewed the author how she came about being the richer woman she is right now.

The Anniversary Gala 2008 45 载光芒 8方贺台庆

The Anniversary Gala 2008 45 载光芒 8方贺台庆 tonight was exceptionally wonderful to watch. It sur brings back many fond memories especially those old television shows. Those actress and actors who were lost was found today on television. Mediacorp did a great show in inviting them back. Some of which I particularly wanted to find out was Zheng Hui Feng. She acted the hong tou jin - 红头巾. She was one of the best actress whose acting was very natural. There are also others who have left the Mediacorp for sometime came back. They are old already and some couldn't walk well while others have all grown up since they acted as a child.

Congrats to MediaCorp for their wonderful 45 years for bringing so much good programs. Sure remind me of my good old young days of watching television

Rotten LUCK

Hop onto TIBS bus on my way back home thinking that I will get back home fast after a movie with my girl as we are in a rush to get back home to get lunch for my husband and son.

What happen, the TIBS bus driver stop at the second bus stop after leaving the interchange. We thought bus break down and he call for a back up bus to come pick the passenger up. Waited 2 seconds, he didn't even say a thing but heard him talking to someone asking if something is wrong with the bus. Later, he move to next bus stop and stop again for another 2 second and call to see if can drive the bus. After that came another same bus number, the driver came over to check for him and told him can drive. Then he drive the bus. See what ROTTEN LUCK this is called. Hoping to get home fast and end up wasting time for the bus to solve their problem and they only left the interchange not long. Why can't they check first before leaving the interchange? Sigh...irritating!

Weddings Downstairs

I have nothing against Weddings held downstairs but this weekend is just so outright in- considerate and the people who are holding should be shame of themselves for doing it.

So what happen? Weddings that are held downs stairs which follow religion, I have nothing to say but to accept it coz it is tradition and we all have our own traditions regardless of any races but this time they have went to far as to ramp their cars and motorcycles and even honk, even at 9pm in the evenings as well as the following day late afternoons. These people have no sense that they are disturbing the peace of other people. Shame on them! Double Shame on those who are also older then them didn't remind them that there are other people besides themselves. Wedding celebrations are to be kept tradition not noise polution. GET THAT!

Good Karma

Been having this idea about how one can gain Good Karma.

So came across this website in which there are about 20 rules in which we must follow to get Good Karma.

Projected Plans Year 2009

Ok .. No more high hopes about going to American next year!

So project plans for Year 2009 would be as below

1. Force the current company to confirm otherwise I am on a job hunt.
2. If plan 1 don't work, may slow down in working and find a permanent part-time job
3. Put my son in childcare
4. Potty Train him
5. Find sponsor for training
6. Go for a HUGE Tour

Dreams that I was hopping to do Year 2009, will not come true would be

1. Go back to Church regularly coz I no more working and I am driving
2. Do some volunteer work
3. Create crafts and see if I can try for the upteen time to set up my own store
4. Take up early childhood course
5. Have more time to coach my girl in studies

However, this is a dream and no longer will happen.

Jurong Island SUCKS

Jurong Island SUCKS and hate going there!

Why? Here is the reason

1. You have to get down from the bus and tap the pass
2. You have to hop onto the bus after the check by the ATOS police
3. The gate slow in responding the pass and opens slow
4. Waiting for bus to come. Private bus SUCKS... always late and never on time
5. Standing at bus stop to feed mosquito every evening while waiting to hop on the bus back home.
6. Takes so long to get to the MRT... driver old man driving SUCKS
7. Stupid old man driver can't stop nearer to the MRT station for all of us to get down and yet we pay $2.50 to ride the stupid bus with poor service

So ... what so good about Jurong Island besides the pay? NOTHING! & I continue to curse and swear when the driver is slow and late all the time! Things never get any better then this.

Thanksgiving

Well, come back also very sad! Sometimes I wish I don't reach home. Not even my husband care how I feel one. So what is the point of coming home? I only chose to come home becoz of the children. Ok .. I give up liao lah... So there are four contestant and of which the four, one is a BIG JERK for putting up coz he been there several times. If they really give it to him. There is no justice at all. For this reason is why I left the RSAF too! Coz it is too black! Black as in meaning politically people gets favor underhanded, favoritism is what I called it.

Ok .. I give up praying already. If GOD won't want me to go America that is it! This year no Thanksgiving for me. Why? This year is outright ROTTEN so there isn't anything to say Thanks for! Just that I am still alive and suffering is all I can say. LIFE SUCKS HERE!

Just found this on website. I think is a cool information to have especially when hiring maids. Sometimes hiring maids depend on luck. If you lucky you get a good and well behave one. If you are unlucky, you get a maid that comes from HELL.

Itching to go Holiday

Ok School Holidays have already started for a week.

Have been itching to go for a holiday trip for a very long time. 2006 didn't travel coz I was pregnant. 2007 didn't travel either coz baby still young and then 2008 coming to an end soon and still I am not travelling. I am getting agitated. Earn so much and can't travel so earn for what? To wait until I die so I can buy a coffin and burn myself in it?

Argh.. no thanks to my husband always procrastinating. So we going America or not. STUPID IDIOT quickly make the decision so I can have my plans out and trip out lah! At times like this, I get so agitated .. ai yah don't go liao lah. Bloody HELL!

Ok .. I so desperately want to go Sydney not that they have plenty to see there lah coz my Uncle stay there. My Grandma is there hanging and any time may go as she is old. I just want to say "Goodbye" to her and say "I forgive her for misjudging me and Dad" so she won't feel bad all the time about how much she love my sister and didn't give me any attention. However, after looking the Jetstar Budget Air, I say forget it coz I can't afford to pay $1,000.00 ++ per person and we have not even reach Sydney to play yet.

Ok .. so I ask husband, let's go Genting (Malaysia). He say raining season, very dangerous to travel up. Still, he add my son still young. Yeah not like he help to look after very much. There goes another idea.

SICKENING.. or else I go by myself. Cheap and easy.. no more thinking about this and that. So guess, I going to stuck in Singapore for end of the year also. LIFE SUCKS in Singapore!

Independent

Ever since young my parents were separated and I have to learn to be indepent while my Dad goes out to work and I being look after by my neighbor or rather a nanny.

This have been hard when you have to be independent at a tender age which is not even teenage. Everything I have to learn by myself or try to find out from others. Then there is the trying to get through the obstacles of growing up with many encounters I would come across. Some being people would hurt you and others would be trying to be somebody, not forgetting studies too. Still, when sad, no one to go to. When encounter broken love no one to comfort. And that is not all, when have no idea how to solve a particular situation, face it on my own. So as you can see, times were really bad growing up.

Finally, I am all grown up! Have family and have a husband but things doesn't seem to get any better then it was. I do wish it did so. Still, I am doing things myself after all these years of growing. Sometimes it is really tired and would like to depend on others for a change but my guess would be that I will have to rest in my coffin then can I no need to depend on others anymore but for God to bring me into his arms.

Some lame Excuse for spending "the people's" $$$

A recent case where the Town Council was exposed for spending the resident's month contribution for service and conservancy (S&C) on investments "had earlier been described loosely as “a couple of percentage”, and yesterday, the hard figures — amounting to$16 million in all — were revealed for the first time. " as per TODAY paper on 18 November 2008 stated.

Sure or not! And we should be "Thankful!" What lame excuse. Can't you find a better excuse then this? Then have you done anything good lately after getting the money? Sigh ... it is really sad to learn that we trusted the Town Council and they have betrayed our trust by doing this without resident's consent. Who else we can trust anymore these days if even Town Council have played us like that?

Our next question, so will there be justice for this? Will someone be punished for this or is it going to be another cover up?

Funny Thing

Came home from work today and my husband told me this funny thing he did today. He never believe in this and today for once he go and did it. I always tell him about how one psychic once told me this and that and he will always say that don't always believe in them.

So what did he do? He went to the Guan Yin temple near Sim Lim Square at Albert Street and he pray. PRAY! A free thinker PRAY to GOD for the very first time! Wow... how amazing is that! I am a Catholic and he is not. Although he didn't pray the same God as me but this is sure a start that he believe in God for once. So, he approach the fortune teller too. The fortune teller told him something in which I find it most funny which is he have many xiao ren; small people who likes to do underhanded things against you. Wow... even I can tell you that. Tell me about it which working environment doesn't have small people? Hahhhahhaa... and I am not an expert in fortune telling somemore.

You know fortune teller always tell you so much about your past but nothing much about the future. Why? This is because if they reveal too much about your future, their lives here will be shortened. As so what we Chinese ever believe in it when you try to peak into the future. Anyway, something new to write and remember by.

Talking about fortune teller, my dispatch know how to read palm and she also tell me so many things about my past. Hmmm... but I laugh coz she wasn't very accurate though. Anyway, it was a good try tough. Hhahahha

2-inch high shoe

After looking and waiting for sometime for a shoe for the wedding dinner I going to attend next week, I finally settle with Charles & Keith shoe which cost me $39.90.

2 inch high! First time wearing this shoe. I find it particularly unique. Besides, can't find one similar at the same price so settle for this since thinking so long. So I went ahead to buy yesterday.

Anguish & Disappointed

Human is selfish by nature. No doubt about that in this world, there are plenty. Even myself too am selfish at times. However, most of the time I just hope other people will put others into consideration then themselves. But this doesn't happen.

Ok the contestant have finally appear after last three days of the final decision is about to come out. Some BASTARD is what I really would called him! So you can't decide meh? Have to play like that meh? What you think this is? YAHOO AUCTION OR EBAY AUCTION come last minute and hope to win! If I have the power punish people like that, I really like him to ROT in HELL. You go so many times already yet cannot give other people a chance to go har! So you think the world only revolve around you har! SELF CENTERED JERK!

That is the reason why people like this makes the world such a sad living place to be in and no wonder so many people only have comit suicide in their minds. It is NO THANKS to self centered jerk like him!

心晴大动员 - Tonite someone stole the poor family's can of gas. It cost S$30.00 to replace one for them. You IDIOT who would leave a gas can at the door step. Check out first before you take lah. You never read the NOTE meh? You blind har! CURSE you for stealing from the poor. May your life turn to poorer then these people who are already poor then you know what it is like to be poor. Then another IDIOT steal their can food. Why you also poor meh? Can't you find someone else to help you and have to steal from another poor family. May you eat the can food and get food poisoning coz you steal from others.

Journey to the Center of the Earth

The above movie starring Brandon Fraser also well known for acting the Tarzan show and The Mummy.

He star in above show again. This time in this show he is a professor and an uncle.

Interesting show but some parts I find it not very logical. How come only got one dinosaur? If there is dinosaur in the center of the earth, it most likely can't survive the heat now can it? At 150 Degree Fahrenheit not even human can stand that heat needless to stay about dinosaur. WOW... the fossil found there is worth millons and so is the diamond. Too bad they couldn't carry much but the kid was clever enough to take some. A World within a World said Brandon Fraser in this movie. I think not! However, the scene in this movie was really good especially the bird that glows.

Downturn in Singapore

Every 1o years there is a downturn. So did someone manipulate this or it happens to be like predictable 10 years?

The last downturn was in 1999 when I first graduated from university and came back from America. Came back out to work in 2002 and still the downturn didn't quite pick up. This time round it hits hard and God knows when it is ever going to pick up then.

So far down here, many companies have retrenched people. Even the bank have been hit too. DBS for one is retrenching people. How I know? It came out in the newspaper. When comes to big retrenchment, it is like BIG news. They get free advertisement! Other places are having pay cut but lucky for them as they still have a job. I, couldn't complain much as I still having a job and I do not have to retrench people. That is one thing why I like not being in the management level. You do not have to put into a spot that you have to retrench people yourself.

We will survive no doubt about that! Thank Goodness we are Singaporeans as our government is helping in someway though not much. Government are helping those retrench to get training and get another job from another sector. Who can complain? Compared to other countries, we are considered quite good! So, Singaporeans don't complain much that Singapore no good as other countries, people are suffering hard from this hit and they aren't receiving government assistance.

The Spiderwick Chronicles Movie

Just borrowed this DVD movie.




Didn't know this movie was good and was skeptical at first until I saw the shorts from somewhere and went to borrow it. After watching the movie, I found it to be very interesting. It is similar to the Never Ending Story. Something like fantasy. If you are like me who love to watch goblins and troll, this movie is for you.

The ending is also good as the father and daughter have their moment in time forever.

This could be another one, similar to JFK Rowling stories, which may become popular after the ending of Harry Potter.

Weekends

When I was single, weekends was to hit the theater for movie, shopping, hanging out somewhere...

After married, I just hang at home and surf internet.

Then when kids come along, hang more at home. Wake up in the morning, feed my kids, then wash the clothes, entertain kids, cook lunch, then cook dinner, and sleep.

Hardly any time for hobbies, television and computer games. No time for anything else but rest up and work more.

& there goes the weekend before I ever know it that I haven't done much. Where did all the time go?

My Dress

Ok.. ordered two dresses from this supplier I don't know. Wanted this dress for a wedding dinner end of the month. First time order. Came in on Thursday. Unfortunately, I wasn't around to accept it from the postman. Called them to redeliver on Saturday and finally received it.

Try it out. Wow... exactly what I want. Am so happy especially the material is the type I always like. Service fast and good. Would order from them again if they have new line of clothes to my liking.

Fate sealing soon?

Ok.. husband came home last night with this piece of news!

His boss say that ok.. your fate is sealing soon ... whether you can go to America will depend on this BIG man (and he is not GOD but a B) and the "B" is not a good word. Needless to spell it out clearly to all to see. If there is no contestant means .... can or cannot go still up to him.

& Prayers have to increase more as this is so not good to hear. Sigh .... will this ever end?

I ask for prayers out there and pray myself that GOD our LORD will answer our prayers. Please GOD that there WILL NOT be any contestant to my husband request to be attached overseas. We all are looking forward to it to go to America.

Marina Barrage

We have a new dam. Marina Barrage is the name of the new dam.

It sure looks similar as the Hoover Dam in Las Vegas. Something similar but Hoover Dam ofcourse needless to say is much bigger coz of the bigger land they have. Hhahhaa

Went there yesterday and boy was it crowded with people. Someone was smart enough to make a quick buck by parking their van there to sell drinks and ice-cream on such a hot day yesterday. However, I never patron it as it usually isn't cheap as the stalls that sell drinks outside.

Was all worked up yesterday going to Marina Barrage. Angry with my husband in fact. Reason being is that the Marina Barrage have this water playground and I didn't bring extra clothes for my girl and he say it is ok for her to go ahead and play. That made me damn mad! If you already know got water playground then you should tell me or my girl to bring extra clothes and also a towel. I only brought extra clothes for my son coz he usually eat very messy so have to bring extra clothes. I bring a square towel coz I always sweat so does my kids. So, square towel where enough to dry my girl and my son at the same time. Argh.... some more whether is so hot and I feel so aggitated and tired from having to carry my son. Still, my son wants to stick to me.

After that we head to Seoul Garden to eat dinner. Then I feel so much better coz I was also dead thirsty.

Next Harry Potter Movie

Yeah! Finally news have come for the next Harry Potter Movice. My all time favorite movie. So sad to hear that a cast past away and then the movie got hold up.

Hair Styles

There are many hair styles today that of some which may fit your look and some may not fit your look. So be careful in picking the hair style you want as once cut, you have to wait for sometime before it grow back and have another cut. Heheehe.

I , for one am afraid of cutting my hair sometimes. The reason being the hair dresser who cuts your hair may be having a bad day or having different kinds of mood and there goes your hair. So if I used this hair dresser, and I like the way he cut my hair, I most likely will go back the same place and use the same hair dresser to cut my hair and no other people. Still, I usually don't like lady to cut my hair. Very simple, my philiosphy is lady hairdresser may not want you to look as good as her so the hair cut always don't come out the way you imagine it to be. So don't even think about it.

When comes to hair, I particularly like Charlize Theron hairsyle. She is so sexy with this hair style.

For long hair, I always look good in rebond. However, can't have that all the time as it weakens the hair and will have spilt ends.

Have been invited to a wedding dinner end of the month and am thinking about hairstyles to do up for my long hair. I particualarly like this but can't figure how to do it. Anyhow, when the day comes, I may just leave my hair as it is. Anyway it isn't like it is my wedding. As long I look good enough. Hate wasting time to go through so much trouble with my hair and not like anyone will ever notice.

HDB BBQ Pit Booking System SUCKS

Here is another feedback to the Town Council to figure this out

HDB have BBQ pits for resident near by to use them for gathering or party reasons. Whatever reason it may be, you need to apply to reserve that pit before you can actually use it. Something like applying for a permit to use.

So went to Town Council website to check out if they have an online BBQ pit application just like those at the park where you can reserve online and pay at a machine call AXN. However, it is sad to relize that they do have an online application but it doesn't state how you pay them. So you will be fooled to think that they have the pay online system tie to the online application. Understand from Poor Mommy that you have to go down to Town Council personally to make the payment.

I like har! It totally don't make sense to have an online BBQ pit application and you have to go down personally to make payment to them. If that is the case, why do we need the online application? It defeats the purpose of having one. Please change make it easy for people to apply for BBQ pits for busy people. Otherwise, just remove the online application coz it isn't friendly at all!

BITCH

Ok... Was pissed off yesterday by the BITCH again.

Well, the current working environment I am in, most management people wear face mask. Even my dispatch auntie also wear face mask. They are all not real! Why I say that is because they pretend to be nice to you infront of you and next moment turn against you. So, how real is that!

The purchaser for the second time have pissed me off. BITCH.. you think I going to take this from you just becoz you are near managment. WAKE UP! I am older in age then you and BACK OFF if you think I going to swallow that RUDE e-mail. I helped someone to raise a purchase requistion, and I put something into a column in the SAP system. It isn't my problem if the programmer didn't categorize the group material properly. It also isn't my problem if you didn't do a good orientation for SAP. So, I return a strict e-mail back to bite the BITCH back to smack her up. Then I go tell the manager in charge about what she did and I say no more favors for you. Go raise your own purchase requistion yourself and I ask the IT Manager to create the SAP account for him.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was famous for the movie show Terminator and his favorite word commonly used by everybody is 'I'll be Back!'

Today he is a Governor of California. It is almost hard to believe that Arnold an actor so good at doing the Terminator and a body builder person with six pack muscles is the Governor of California. It all seems like a dream. However, he is real; the Governor of California and he is really serious about what he does.

Reaper

This is a serial show in which I occassionaly catch it on channel 5. At first I thought this is a devil show and it is not recommend to watch this type especially coming from a Catholic Faith. However, tempted to watch bits and pieces sometimes if I come across this channel and see it.

Anyhow, last episode I catch the full show instead and come to releaze that this Reaper show isn't all that a devil show. Yes they have a character that acts as SATAN but the morale of the story is all about using this poor chap to collect naughty souls that have escape from HELL. So it isn't that time of preaching ... Interesting show and recommend to watch. At times is a bit creepy coz SATAN likes to drop the reaper guy some suprises if he fails in his duty.

America's new President

Congrats to America on their newly elected President!

George Bush is stepping down. Needless to say anything about him here coz it is not for all ears to hear and to see. So SSSSSsssssshhhhhhh!

Obama is the new President of America. He is black and so what; it is what he can do for the country that counts.

John McCain came in too late to catch up with the election. Obama have already won few votes ahead of him. Sorry.. John perhaps you need to come in early as the early bird catches the worm.

Hate this when my boss does that to me!

I was on sick leave yesterday and even tough I didn't take the annual leave coz the company have no electricity; I do not agree with the idea of my boss who thinks that I should deduct my annual leave just becoz there is no electricity in the company. Anyway, I was sick and I have the doctor medical certification to prove it. Besides, sick leave is my benefit and which the other benefit I have to use.

Then came in this morning and my boss pass by my table to give me that LOOK! You know that LOOK to see if I were really sick or not! I didn't care to explain anything to her. I have a clear concious anyway. This will definitely go down into my HR Review when I get out of God Forsaken Place.

STOP giving me that crappy facial look coz ITs NOT SO FUNNY as you think it is. Sick leave is MINE MINE MINE .. I use it the way I WANT TO!

Plan for next two years

Today is a good day where the result will be officially out! It is a day where my plans for the next two years will be offically announced by someone else other then me.

Adding things while paying at cashier

Ok... this may seem alright to some people but it is outright RUDE!

You are in the Que paying for your items you selected. The guy in front of you is in the process where the cashier is totalling up his items and suddenly remembered or rather his wife go pick something out and quickly add that into the process or rather the guy ask the cashier to wait for a while for his wife to come back with the item to include in as he don't want to get back into the Que. Hey .. look here there are people behind. Have some respect for those who need to pay their items and go! Sigh .. some people are just like that.. totally no consideration that there are people behind him waiting to pay their items too. So don't hold up the Que.

Please don't practice scenarios like this. This is so UGLY!

In-Law Moving

Brother -in-law found a buyer to take over his current HDB flat. Funny why he want to downgrade. He now have to move into his little brother's place which is 4-room flat and a big mess. Not like I have seen the mess but then my husband told me about it. Two weeks time they will move over and we have to occassionally go visit them. Don't quite like that idea. Needless to say... this is a "in-law" topic in which must go into some other time. Just can't summarize it in few words.

Good for me as in no more having to spent time there as his place is totally not child friendly and everytime I go there I get agitated. You know what happens when a place is not child friendly. You have to constantly look out the danger for your younger child. That can be very irritating especially after a hard day work and you are exhausted. Down side, no home cook food and we have to settle our dinner outside. That is fine with me as Father-in-law is always running out of ideas as to what to cook and sometimes constantly cook egg as a dish and other times, the dishes are way saltish. Father-in-law's taste buds are no longer good so have to forgive him for adding to the dishes he cook with extra salt. Not that I do not appreciate him cooking but then he always in a rush and want to cook meals like that we don't eat and end up wasting. So sometimes I'd rather he not cook. Too stressful for him. We don't usually pressure him to cook if he don't want to or he wants to go out with his girlfriend.

This means more time to myself after work and come home and relax straight after dinner. Do whatever I want. How cool is that!

Finally MRT is doing something about the always packed with people during the rush hour. If any later, even a healthy person taking the MRT would even puke in the MRT train while traveling to work as the air circulation is poor due to, too many people and some of the morning breath and body odor and plus some other smell in which will trigger you to feel like vomitting. The MRT sometimes is so packed, you can only feel the body heat and the person controlling the train don't even know to turn the air condition up to accomodate for the temperature increase. With the heat and the smell going together, how to faint or puke or even both at the same time; puke then faint. Hahahha

Hope this will work and will change from short term to permanent!

This Week

My Boss is away for the week. Not that I really know of as it is already end of the week and she is still not back yet says so! Well, so much for being her assistance coz she didn't even tell me she is going away just overheard her conversation then realize. You thought I would be relax coz boss is not around. Well, pretty much relax but not all that. Still have outstanding job that came during this time to keep me busy. As if my boss have been praying that I would not be idling while she is away. Hhhahhaa

My girl's exams over! Here comes the results of all my struggle with tiredness and still bring myself to teach and nag at her. Her results is not to my expectation but she somehow still pass. I am upset with the results not that she never score good is that she has given away the points just like that to the teacher after I have even spent so much time to go through with her those online exercises which is the same question for the mistakes she make. Sigh... what a failure I am. Her Chinese did well but have yet to see if her Oral and Listening Comprehension for Chinese is as good to prove her tuition at this private school is not a waste.

Popularity of Contract Jobs?

Some time back which is about last year, someone commented in the TODAY newspaper that statistically contract jobs now are very popular.

SMACK the person for saying that! Where did you ever get that statistics from is NOT TRUE at all! Contract jobs should not be classified as being popular as they comes with an expiry date. In addition to that, it doesn't even comes with benefits like the below:

2. No Medical Leave
3. No Hospital Leave
4. No Childcare Leave
5. No Training privilege
6. No 13th month bonus privilege
7. No company share options
8. & many more NO ... NO...

Slightly Better Contract Jobs

3. Medical Claim or See company doctor
4. End of Contract Bonus (for 1 year contract mostly only)

The reason why people take up contract jobs is because they most likely have no other choices. It may be paying well then other non-contract jobs or because they have End of Contract Bonus. Besides that, no one wants to get expired and contract not renewed or even worst to find out one day you are out of a job because economy not doing well and the company you working for is unable to keep you. So your statistically is WRONG!

Junior School Brushing Teeth Session

During the 80s, our junior schools here in Singapore have this brushing teeth session for all children to come along and line up at the small drains with their mugs filled with water, toothbrush and toothpaste during the break time. There is a catchy song in which they will play during this time and when everybody hear that sone would know it is time to brush out teeth. We would all rush to get water at the tap near the place where we brush our teeth.

It sure was fun during that time, watching everybody rush for the tap and brushing the teeth and laughing all at the same time. However, sad to say that today, this sessions seem to be have obmitted from schools. At least I think so coz I don't even hear my girl talking about this going on at her school. I really wonder! Have things like this change so much or kids today their teeth are very well taken care of so no need for this session anymore?Or, are schools forgot there was once a session like this before or even dentist forgot about this too? So what happen to it only the Ministry of Education can answer this question!

Education System

Well, if you have not heard about the Education System here and been thinking that it is all that good coz it is world recognized, then you are sadly mistaken! The good part is that it is world recognized but there is lots of stress on your child and your child may or may not be able to take the pressure.

Mothers today in Singapore are not only stressed up by their work but also by the education system here. Not so educated mothers, they have to depend on the school teachers to educate their child and if you pick a not so good school and your child is not so the bright type, good luck to them coz you have to hire tuition teacher or sent the child to extra classes to buck up in their school work. These cost lots of money.

Those mothers who are slightly a bit educated, and have not much money to send them to lots of extra classes, have to spent time to teach themselves and then teach the child and still have to send them for extra classes in hope that they still do better in school. Like after a day of hard work and HELL from boss in the office is not enough but come home you have to watch what homework your child have and make sure the child does it and have it done correctly. Why? If not, it will come back as correction, it will still reverts back to you to show the correct way of doing it. So ... mothers are also doing part of the teacher's job too these days. Sad but true!

You might think it is transparent that the Education System does not categorize the child, if you really see it deep down, it isn't all that of transparent at all.

Then if your child don't pass and move up to the next level, you are to be BLAME for not making the enough effort to watch over their school work!

So what to do? Knock off early to get home to watch over the school work. Hope you have an understanding boss that allows you to go home on time and not work you to death so that you got the energy left to bring home to teach your child TODAY's Homework. Thus, it isn't enough to just emphasize to kids today that "if you don't study well, you will end being nobody" you must also watch over the school work assigned.

This how the education system here today. Children can no longer be the innocent children who just play, have fun, do their studies and just move on in life. They are perssurize to keep up with their school work and marks to keep the school reputation going.

Bad Feedback Forms

I think I have written this before about bad feedback forms. On the left is an example of bad feedback form. Where is the SUBMIT and CANCEL button? Then the window can't be open bigger nor be adjusted so how can I forward this to my e-mail. Perhaps the webmaster didn't know as there is so much to do for website and could have overlooked this. So I did send in for them to look into the matter; two times in fact I send to highlight and yet until now the problem still not fixed. Sigh ... means the feedback is no use :(. Nobody looking into it at all. MCYS or eCitizen please have this fix other wise it doesn't really serve any purpose to have this feature.

Deepavali

Thanks to the Deepavali Day being moved to Monday at the last moment, I manage to get the extra time to change the outlook of my blog. Have that in plan for the past few days and have not get to it and notice Poor Mommy beat me to it. So I decided to take this time to change it by hook or by crook.

Never thought my salary would come in on Saturday. However, it did! One thing good about this company, they pay salary on time and early especially special days like Deepavali and Hari Raya Haji.

My girl's exams are finally over! Haven't been out shopping for the past few weekends as you may know why if you are a Singaporean mother like me ;)! Look out for my next blog article about the education system here in Singapore and how the mothers here suffer when their children are having their final exams. Nightmare for mothers and not for children! Finally Saturday went out to get some things on my list.

End of October is approaching. Haven't quite plan out for the next year. World Crisis is what is going to happen next year and it have already started. Some companies here are re-trenching staff and I am under a contract. My thoughts are if they do not want me.. I just have an excuse to stay at home and look after the kids. After all I am a bit tired from the rat race out there and would like to take a break. Sometimes my girl tells me about nanny this and that.. I am shocked she does that but no choice have to swallow it and pretend never hear. So also quite tired of hearing this and that and worry about she really cannot cope.

I am hoping that the results about my husband going or not be attached to overseas next year. Have many plans if going and also have plans if not going. Many things come across my mind and sometimes seem to go haywire if you know what I mean. Clashing in both directions as to don't know where or what I should do first.

If news positive to go, no need to think, contract ends where it is and start packing and throwing things I don't need.

If news not as plan, may or may not continue. Depending they renewing or giving me a perm slot in which I doubt going to be perm slot as I have played out too many times to realize that even you are good they still don't give you what you want. So till then, I don't want to think about it nor even ask for it.

So if it really doesn't work out the way I want to, I plan to go upgrade myself or get sponsorship from some company. Anyone want to sponsor me? Heeehhee .... may be a career change.. messy thoughts right now.

Still, hate it when my husband wants me to work full time. I work now and come home still have to cope with the small child and the big child's homework and also the housework. So tired yet still have to pull myself to do. Sick also have to pull the body up with no rest to take care both of their needs.

Think Out of the Box

The term "Think Out of the Box" don't really mean you have to have a box to think out of it. It is just a figure of speech for you create more ideas.

So this Class FM95.0 have a radio advertisement by Vernetta Lopez that is really funny in which this term came out. So how does the ad goes,

1. Vernetta Lopez's colleague tells her that she needs to think out of the box for her show
2. Then Vernetta ask what box?
3. Then she ask did I get a box?
4. Her colleague tries to explain to her the term of "Think Out of the Box". However, Vernetta is still thinking so she didn't quite hear what her colleague have to say
5. So she go find a box.
6. Last when she found a box, what she do? She goes inside the box and yell to her colleague "I am in the box now!" However, her colleague gave up on her and left.

Hahhhhahhaha. This is what I call a good advertisement. One that has creativity and also makes you have a good laugh!

Locksmith

Went to Admiralty MRT yesterday and there was a locksmith. A small push cart equipment on a trolley is what he have with him to make keys for anyone. So I approach him in hope that he does issue receipt for keys done. Was surprise that he says yeah I do issue receipt for keys done. Ok gave him some keys in which I couldn't get it duplicated at the shop and any other locksmith shops. After he duplicate the keys, he wrote a receipt and guess what! My jaw drop when I saw him wrote "keys duplication" on the receipt he was about to issue to me. This man have no good education and making keys yet he can spell the word "duplication". That amazed me! I told him, it is wonderful that you can write this word and he said somemore he is from a Chinese education school. I clap my hands and praise him. See don't look down on people who are just locksmith. They may not have the glamor paper like a degree we may have but yet he can do so much.

Today, went there again. Why? The key he duplicate can't unlock. Hey it is not his fault ok! That type of lock nobody one to duplicate the key for me and he did it. So don't blame him. So he re-make another for me. I feel bad as he is not earning much already and have to re-make another key for me. So what I did was .. I took out a two dollar note and wanted to give him for coffee treat but he refuse it even no matter how I try to give him. This is pride! I admire that! Here's a BIG THANK YOU TO YOU!

Pick who to seat with you

Be it in a bus or the train, one can pick who they want to seat next to with. How?

Try put your bag next to an empty seat or place your butt on the two seats. So when someone come by you like seating with, move your butt over to the one seat and the person will take the seat. Interesting isn't it? That is what most Singaporean here doing. Typical Right? But true! You think only women will do that but you'd be surprise that men also do the same thing. Many Singaporeans like to do that by putting their tiny butts on two seats or place the bag to take the other seat instead of one seat and can even pretend they don't know they are taking up the space of two seats for the one person ticket they pay for the bus or train trip.

And this is how the term UGLY Singaporean came about!

What happened today was, some DORK colleague brought some food today to work from home so that "speacial"group share their food. As I was eating they came in and sat at the other corner of the table in which I was seating. Never even ask "hey you want some?" Wow not like I want to eat lah at least you could have offer right? So much for being a colleague. YOU JERK! Offer to this manager... or did he just took some from them without permission. Wow liao.. some people hor really buey pai seh one leh. Next time I also can do that... go buy something good and offer to the cleaner and some stranger infront their face. Alternative, I can bring my food and go somewhere else to eat. JERK!

Food from the Heart (FFTH)

I found this website a year or two ago. Can't really recall when. However, when I found it was by a sudden urge when I saw my ex-company's in-house cafeteria wasting food by throwing it away at the end of the day if it cannot sell. I like wow ... people from other poor country is suffering without food and here we are throwing it away. So I was in urge to find a community that will collect and give out unwanted food to those who are in need. I once came across this Food from the Heart (FFTH) on some where before in which they introduce about how they collect breads and have them given to those in the old folks home or to those who need it, can't recall exactly as it was way back news. So I decided to ask if they collect food as well. Unfortunately, they reply that they don't :(. Seeing much waste sure makes me sad but there is little we all can do about situation like this.

Anway, Food from the Heart (FFTH) has came very far. I noticed that they now even offer to do even more eg. celebrating birthdays and even giving out parishable foods. They certainly have expand after all these years. That is great!

So do spread the news if you have friends that are free to do volunteer work with them. They will train you. If I have ample of time in the day, I would volunteer myself too. Seeing smiles in faces that shows they appreciate your stuff even how little it cost brings you the warmth in which money may never ever can buy. Check their website out for more information.

If you think that the window is clean to lean your head or your body against, think again.

Just this morning, I was taking the MRT to work, this girl was leaning against the glass next to the door. As she exit the train, there is a patch of "oil"or don't know what is that but I sure won't want to go find out. It is a patch of moisture left behind on the glass. Grose! What happen next was another man go lean against it. I almost PUKE! Thinking about it my hair stands. Yhew!

So next time check where you leaning first before you lean on it!

Exams Month for my girl

This month is busy month!

My girl is having her final exams and she is still playing a fool with doing her practices despite my warning that if FAIL, you will repeat Primary 1 again. Guess they don't really know what is call scared. Anyway, can't help her if she don't help herself but only pray to GOD to guide her through. Sigh .... give up!

She had a few days away from school to practice and catch up with those still don't know. Lucky! But still playing a fool as time ticks.

Next week will be the last week of her exams and last 3 papers to come one after another. After that I am free from stress and can go out and enjoy. This month everyweekend have been at home coaching her with her studies.

Representing Company

Many times people represent their company to go sell their products to other companies always forget that they have an image they must keep. If they don't present themselves properly, it only reflects bad on your company and the service your customer will doubt you could provide to them. However, nobody seem to even take the time to see it this way.

Here are some scenarios in which I came across in which I feel that the other person could have done better when representing their company in other company's area.

Case 1 - Two ladies were waiting at the reception to be escorted to the person who they are to meet up with and one lady says "I think I want a cup of coffee .. so tired... (with an attitude)" and I have not even offer anything to her to drink yet. HELLO .. you here to sell things to us.. mind you if we don't even offer you any to drink.

Case 2 - I requested some people to sign in on the sign in and out log book. But instead of each person sign in and out, one representative sign for all. Excuse me... the reason for sign in and out is to sign personally and I have not heard that you could even send a representative to do that on behalf. This is outright RUDE and no respect for the company's practice. Like that is not bad enough, some of the information required, don't even care to look or fill up.

Next time you represent your company, make sure you have better judgement as to what can do and what cannot do. Constantly remember you are representing your company and watch out for your COMPANY IMAGE!

Raffles Medical Group

Here is my feedback for Raffles Medical Group.

Was sick today and went to the click above to see the doctor as it was the recommended company doctor. Went there about 8:30 am. They open at 8:00am. Don't think the seeing patient started yet coz the number board was empty with no number being called. My number was xxxx... some number behind. Many patient is sick on Monday and all waiting in line to outside for turn to see the doctor. Ok ... hope my number is that long of a wait coz I am kind of weak and dieing. Didn't quite take my breakfast this morning before heading to the clinic so thought I go McDonalds to grab a bite and come back my number is still not called yet. So went to have my breakfast and came back. Ha... number still not called yet. Ok ... went and do some errands... and come back again. Sit down to wait as I was going to faint soon... fainting spell... weak... then the number move very fast. Wow... amazing... less then 10 mins later... my number called.. Yippy... and I was done with seeing doctor.

Yeah ... sometimes it is worth paying a bit more to see clinics that provide better and faster service and even better medication then having to revisit again. Thumbs up for Raffles Medical Group Clinic. Keep up the fast pace.

Woodland Regional Library

This is my feedback about Woodlands Regional Library.Their books is all not in order.

Today went to the Woodlands Regional Library to see if I can find anything interesting books off the shelves. Picked some out to read and then put it on the trolley after done reading for the librarian to put it back to the shelves.

Later, I noticed that the book I placed on the trolley is being placed back onto the shelve but into the wrong numbering order. Sigh.. no wonder books are always "lost" or being "tracked" coz they are misplaced by like that. Still, I noticed another comic book which is not meant in that shelve. No wonder everytime I use the online library catalogue to see if the book is there, not on loan, but when I come down to the library to check it out, it is never there coz it is misplaced.

People please be careful about putting the books back into the shelves coz others might want to read the book. If you not sure about the place, please put it on the trolley so a responsible librian will put it back in place for others to read.

Best library I ever been to it the one at Toa Payoh Library and Bukit Panjang Library. I can always find the book on the shelve like the Library Catalogue states "Not on Loan".

JERK Manager!

Yesterday have been a real bad day for me! & there goes my flare! Watch out! I blow out fire and one Jerk Manager got burnt! I can care less about if he go complain to my manager. I have so HAD IT with his crappy remarks! I am not proud to say that I screw him. But I did!

So what happen? This JERK asked me to purchase something so I did but when the thing came and I pass to him, he told me "Hey how come it doesn't come with this thing?" So I say "No it doesn't and don't assume it does." Then some how the conversation came to that he says that I have no initiative! So I got pissed off! What the HELL, you never give proper instructions and I am suppose to assume that you need that thing? If you need it, then tell me! I am not hired to read MINDS, JERK! Then he added another remark later on about how his friends who are or were regulars also have no initiative. I pitty those regulars who is his friend. This friend dump him coz he is a fair weather friend. Wow .. damn such remarks... make me boil. It isn't fair that he should say that remark! Needless to say why becoz he is a jerk for not think before speaking. You have so much initiative then you can go buy it yourself why ask me to?

Then the accountant also pissed me off. Come and ask me a stupid question. So I replied.. I do the work for other people don't mean it is my responsibilty to go chase as well. So much for doing favors for people. Learn from me ... FAVORS doesn't come good and cheap! Stay out of favors and say NO Favors!

What are the existing measures to enhance the quality of education in childcare centres?

MOE announced in March 2008 new minimum qualifications for pre-school teachers:

a) For new pre-school teachers and supervisors - five GCE ‘O’ level credits including English Language and a Diploma in Pre-School Teaching from Jan 2009.
b) For incumbent teachers teaching K1 and K2 - a Diploma in Pre-School Teaching, and an ‘O’ level pass in English Language or pass an English Language proficiency test by January 2013.
c) In addition, each pre-school centre should have at least 75% of all its pre-school teachers meeting the requirements to teach K1/K2 classes by January 2013.

MCYS is imposing the same new requirements on teachers in childcare centres.

MOE is also developing a voluntary quality assurance and accreditation framework which will be ready for implementation from 2011. MCYS will be working with MOE to ensure that the framework is applicable to childcare centres.

I have five credits then I wouldn't be considering doing pre-school teacher, I would be doing something else because I am qualified to go into something higher then that. Like that isn't enough but must add the "and" Diploma in Pre-School Teaching . Sigh .. shake my head. Strike that off my list in thinking a dream will come true. Ok.. can also forget about going for the IELTS. Lucky haven't go sign up yet.

Filled with Anger

Sigh... another day filled with anger.

First, read e-mail and there sat an e-mail saying "....I will do this and revert". I thought I said it very clear that there isn't one? Some people having amnesia and still younger then I am. Didn't you hear me clearly when I said it or is it your instructions not clear again? Argh.. please give clear instructions hor if not I don't understand! Pissed off! So called the manager and clarify. Hate it when people do that!

Ok... then came another e-mail later in the day that says " Welcome so and so for joining the company" Argh... this is so BIAS! You thought working for a foreign company would have better treatment but NO WAY! They don't send out e-mails to say welcome so and so "CONTRACTOR" to the company. That is why I HATE BEING CONTRACTOR!!!! Actually there isn't anything wrong with the company it is always the people BEHIND the company that have the BIG PROBLEM!

& don't tell me permanent and contractor is the same! They don't have same treatment. This is an example. Not bonus ... not benefits ... and most of all definitely not better treatment either. I am no IDIOT to accept they are both the same. But anyhow, I can care less about this liao... Thank you so much for demoralizing me. Now I know where my decision should go!

Still, the managers here are so "inconsiderate". They see you down the road waiting for bus and they don't even offer you a ride! They can even pass by and wave good bye to you at the bus stop.

At least those managers I used to know they see me waiting on the road for my ride would even ask me want a ride. I miss the managers at Chartered esp AS & AH! Although they talk dirty at times ... at least they are HUMAN! The people here I work for are not even human! They are so insensitive ! You can't see the steam coming out of my head but it is steaming HOT

Cousin's Wedding @ Raffles Hotel

Another wedding dinner @ Raffles Hotel! This wedding is my cousin's wedding. Went to help at the reception today as requested by my Aunt. I sat a corner. Fend Shui don't seem very good. Many people never come to me to ask for their table seating. I wonder why but glad too as the music was too loud (musician playing music). Can hardly hear them say their name. I guard the ang pows though. Don't seem to enjoy that joke about "guarding the ang pows even if I go toilet" . Har Har har yeah right!

A dream Wedding Dinner to be in. Always wanted something like that when I was young when at the age of one day going to get married. However, that dream never came true. So hate attending weddings like that coz it always make me jealous why I don't have!

As I understand one table cost about $1,200.oo. Wow that is a bomb to spent on solely one table. Is it all worth it? Thinking ... I ain't that rich to spent my money on this. Guess it wasn't meant to be! Who tell me not to get born in a rich and wealthy and status family. Sigh... story of my life in which I can tell so much already lor. Souvenior is pewter... wow. damn no wonder it cost that much! But VERY NICE HOR though not very practical lah!

Again am itching to upgrade myself by attending courses. Ok ... after several hunts I thought I would like to settle with this

Thought this would be interesting to attend. Brush up on my grammar also benefit my child too i future. But guess what? Price of course = S$895.00 ... DAMN that is costly man! can I get subsidy for that? I doubt so! Ok... not good sign... what is worst ... 5 weeks to complete... and in night time classes... no full time classes... That is not good! Still, again classes are only held in Napier ... and so does most classes... Sad.. So Sad.... so may not be my choice then. Unless there is subsidy to that and have day classes. Think so highly of British Council and they disappointed me by saying " Sorry no full time classes; with a period "

Look again at the Bristish Council website, there is one class I can also attend, I thought.

And it cost $88.00 only. Call and ask them... "Only open to teachers" Sad again... so sad... and when I finally found some cheap course to learn and benefit from it, again being shot down. Is there no classes in which I want can allow me to attend? Is there no longer any flexibilty? I want to perfect my grammar to benefit not only myself but also my children. I can teach them although teachers might not do be able to. But there is no way ! There goes my dream! Thank you so much !

They used to promote so much about it and the Courtesy Cat as the escort. We also have a song for that and it goes


Courtesy is for free .... Courtesy is for you and me.... and I forgot the rest. Can't even locate it over the internet as there isn't any courtesy left in all of us!


So what happen to the cat? I most likely think that it have been amputated! Hahahha... and that is the reason why lots of people have forgotten about it and also lack the "Courtesy"!

Who is the xxxx to suggest this even! Are they NUTS! Not say we have to be humane but if we are then where is the point of having maids? Then the issue will be turn around if maids were to get pregnant. We employers will be turn to maid instead. I agree with the article. This is totally outrageous! What makes an ideal Man to have for life?



Everyone have different preferences when on a hunt for the RIGHT MAN! However, some man can actually tell you that he may not be the ONE you can rely on for life that is for sure !


So how can you tell?


One who is drives a big car and he is still SINGLE!


This tells you he got no where to spent his money so he spent it on his car. You bet that he will not spend much on his girlfriend coz he is only out to impress people with his big beautiful car and he may even spent his time taking of his car then his girlfriend. Then if do spend money on his girlfriend, when you reach the buy house stage, he'd be dead broke then.


Then if he drives an affordable not expensive type of car


This guy tells you that he treasure money and practical. Buy an affordable car and save the rest of his money for something bigger and more practical. This type of man can consider! On the other hand, you have to investigate to see if he is stingy ... this can't tell you how ;)



One who sweet talks you. Tells you what you want to hear.



This may sound dreamy especially you hear what you want to hear and you are on cloud 9. Something sweet all the time! However, this isn't real! WAKE UP! If this guy tells you what you want to hear all the time, you must be pretty careful coz potential that he will LIE and LIE to you. You may not be the only girlfriend he have!


One who keeps talking about himself


This one you better keep him off of you! This type of man is self-centered and never can rely on. Going dating is no adventure and can be such a bore that you don't feel like going out. Everything have to be just about HIM!

Still, there is those that are the only child in the family.

This you have to be really careful! The only child in the family may sometimes not be a good thing. Get to really know his family as especially his mom. He may be one of those who is pampered! Needless to say anything more if he really is pampered as if you pick him, be prepared to have many and several disagreements.

Not forgetting the "Man Thing"! They all want one thing from a woman!

Needless to spell it out. If you know this guy for only so little time and he wants to bring you to somewhere or home when no one is at his home now, then be very careful! This can only mean the "S"word! Dump him fast! He isn't really serious about you.

Most important, a good man must have sufficient cash in his bank to take care of you if you choose marry him. Still not forgetting that he must be able to help to do the housework and cook too. Of course the cooking must be edible hor if not it doesn't count! However, these are only my opinions. You may have your share!

Always love Forget Me Nots! It is so beaultiful! Looks wild yet nice in purple color and especially when they are dried up. I like them to be placed on my desk for many years to come to cheer me up.

SUN FLOWER



This one always brings joy to you and that is why it is called Sun Flower. Cheery Flower! However, this flower doesn't last long. After sometime it just dies off and the petals drop. Can't dry this flower at all to keep.

TULIPS



Another one of my favorites. However, tulips looks better in a field with the different bright colors. Just want to make to lie together with them to sleep.

Lilies



There are a few kinds of Lilies. But I particularly like this type above. Why? They are so pure in nature.

So can someone send some flowers to cheer me up? I need some flowers badly to cheer me up! Haven't been receiving flowers God knows when! I am thinking of some Forget Me Nots would be NICE on my desk!

What defines Romantic?


According to the dictionary's definition of Romantic includes


Characterized by strangeness or variety; suggestive of adventure; suited to romance; wild; picturesque; -- applied to scenery; as, a romantic landscape.

Entertaining ideas and expectations suited to a romance; as, a romantic person; a romantic mind.


My definition of romantic ideas includes the below:


1. Having slow walk on the beach with the wind blow your face, and gazing I called that romantic!

2. Having candle light dinners at some restaurant with a beautiful environment, and peaceful is romantic.

3. Riding on a bike behind your love one and travelling on the long road of expressway, that is romantic.

4. Travelling on a yacht and drinking wine, with both of you alone, that is romantic.

5. Receiving flowers surprisingly, that is also romantic.

6. Long Kisses under a missile toe is also romantic.

7. Having first kiss with someone you love is romantic.

8. Having someone play a song for you on a piano to serenade you, that is funny and silly but romantic too.
