Recently found another MP3 Download. Again thought it would be something different but end up disappointed. Wanted to sign up then notice this Terms and Conditions in the clause that reads.

Noticed the "3 times only" in which I highlighted? DAMN... sometimes you don't want to keep the song in your mobile SD card coz it takes up space and after sometime you just want to remove the song to replace some other song you downloaded. MP3 Downloads

After several attempt of finding sources of LEGAL MP3 downloads, I can offically say I GIVE UP! This SUCKS! There are no LEGAL MP3 downloads here in Singapore besides the one Starhub offers.

Talking about the Starhub MP3 downloads, I have tried that and my review for that is its NO GOOD at all. First, you pay for the MP3 music download for say S$0.99 and it comes with a lock. After sometime, you just feel like listening to the music, you can't play it anymore coz the liscense is up, even you have it stored in your hard disk for some time. Never going to download from Starhub MP3 downloads again. Waste of money X(! Just don't understand why we are paying S$0.99 and still comes with a lock. Then what is the point of paying for MP3 downloads if we can only listen only a few times? Argh.....

Then one day, I found Amazon have MP3 downloads too. Was so happy that I finally found one that have many latest hits in MP3 format for download. Then notice this

==============================
At this time music downloads are only available to customers using a credit or debit card issued by a U.S bank with a U.S. billing address. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. We're working to build a successful store on Amazon.com and hope to adapt it to our other Web sites in the future. Please continue to check back for additional information on supported locations.
===============================

Argh... this SUCKS BIG TIME!!! ... Must we have to waste money to buy a CD that have only few songs we want to listen and have to pay S$20.00 bucks for the CD? Argh.. this is so annoying!

About MRT

Singapore fastest train to anywhere here is MRT also known as Mass Rapid Transit. 10 over years ago, when MRT just started not long, when you travel by it, you can feel the cold air in your face and actually enjoy your ride to anywhere.

Today's MRT, especially during the early morning rush hours when people try to get to work, you can hardly feel the cold air in your face. What you actually feel is either the body odour or bad breath of some people's mouth. What is even worst is when someone fart, you can actually faint. Still, not forgetting if the train doesn't turn on the air-condition high enough, you feel like you are about to PUKE or FAINT.

Singapore have come to a stage where we are populated with people. These population don't really come from Singaporean alone. They come from all over the country of some which includes foreigners, and expats. So many people travelling by MRTs these days that the MRTs is always packed with people until the face can stick to the door just to get into the train to get to work. People area also pushing to get into the train even when there is no more space. Even when the next scheduled train comes in 2 mins, the MRT is also packed with people. As if you don't know if we are all clones coz the crowd never ends.

Then again, when evening hits, there is another rush hour again. Rushing to hit home to rest for the day! Again the MRTs are packed with people from all over. Still, frequency of the trains doesn't really help. Again the cycle goes all over again like during morning rush hours. For this reason, I always carry a medicated oil which in any case, somebody fart, some terrible smell, some bad breath, I would not PUKE or FAINT.

Ok ... some of the heavy crowds that people board MRTs are at Choa Chu Kang, Toa Payoh, and Ang Mo Kio. People get off the most is Jurong East (change train mah) Doby Ghaut (change train mah) , Orchard Road (office area mah), Raffles Place (another office area) , and City Hall (change train and also another office area).

In-Laws

Yesterday was Father-in-laws birthday. For a moment thought that this year would be good as no relative to join this birthday celebration. This relative I really dislike coz they are always late for dinner and always say 'Sorry' with the same excuse. Have no consideration for others and have no respect for my Father-in-law. However, as it turn out, my brother-in-law was late instead this year. Sigh ...lucky the restaurant still holding the table. When you are late for the reservered time, some restaurants just release the table. You can't actually blame them coz they also need to do business. Anyway, we watch the fireworks coz was fireworks day, at the restaurant. And most of all we enjoy the food.

This would be interesting to see if any company would really implement this.

Har? Is this referring to for 1st time mom? If yes, what about those moms who already have a kid?

Infant-care leave: One
week of unpaid leave a year,

Yahoo Auction CLOSED

In TODAYs newspaper, the title reads as above. Not that I feel sad about it but just that Yahoo Auction offers people like us to sell their old unwanted stuff and also a way to do small business. All these service is for FREE. Now that it has plans to close the auction down, people like me may not find one that generates more traffic to sell things online besides e-bay.com. Not forgetting that e-bay doesn't comes for FREE in selling things. You have to pay a fee for posting your items on e-bay. Then that is not all the fee you have to fork out. Once your item sells, you still have to pay the amount to e-bay. No doubt the traffic is a lot at e-bay, reliable, and small price to pay. However, if your items don't sell and you keep posting and posting, you wouldn't stand to gain much. Guess now, everybody have to go e-bay to sell their things

BYE BYE Yahoo Auction.

De-moralize

Today came back to work from MC (stiff neck), learn that the contract guy have MIA for two days and understand from the person who he is suppose to take over that he resign. Like that is not bad news yet, it is the talk about him that really demoralize me. He never called to inform that he offically resign. Moreover, when he offered to serve the one month notice, they say no due to confidential information. Ai yo... this really make me ponder about if I were to leave will they treat me the same way they did to him? That is why I don't like being a contractor as they are being treated this way. Still, someone ask me infront of my boss (in Chinese my boss don't understand), why I don't want to take permanent? Then I say, you go ask my boss why don't give lor. Sigh ... sickening being a contractor and this continues to drive me nuts! & I pray to GOD ... please no more contracts lah... and then I still end up with one.

National Day Rally Speech

PM LSL... please come to the point where I am interested to know. So you promise all of us the new Baby Package to improve on the down birth rate Singapore is facing. Announce lah! Just don't go round and round.

After finding so many versions of National Day Rally Speech by PM LSL, still there isn't one that really says anything much about the Baby Package. Below is a recent update of the speech. Don''t know which half coz I never seem to find the one that says something useful about the new Baby Package.

Busy Day due to Global Sales Meeting

Today is a busy day for me. First thing step into office on my list of things to do includes setting the place for my boss to present her things to some incoming visitors from all over the world. Have to clean up the place. Lucky or do you even call that lucky, have someone to help.

However, he didn't quite drain the mop properly and mop the floor with lots of patches of water. Who can blame him, mopping isn't his duty. Sigh. .. so I ask him if he got another mop, and I also mop the floor. This is to ensure things get done faster mah! After that have to arrange the chairs and tables. Put all the bottles of mineral waters on the table. Shack boy! Set up the projector. Make the room dark with some help from the contractors too.

Lucky have extension cable. Talking about extension cable, I thought the manager play me out. Never told me that he arrange his contractor to come in to make the extension cable. Ai yoh. I might as well go buy outside not so leh chey! Anyway, thanks to him for coming through for me. What can I say! No matter I still have to buy one to standby here in case who needs it. Never can tell the future what will happen. If I can I won't be sitting here as an Admin Executive with my desk facing at the reception area. Sigh ... what to do? Life what!

Ok Thanks to contractors, thanks to person who go ask the contractor to come in to make extension cable for me. Finally, no thanks to the person who bring the hats in without informing me X( that we need a place to put that too! COMMUNICATION... can't all this people get it?
============
Thought they'd come in early. 5pm still the bus of people not here. Ai yo... I think I cannot catch the bus liao lah. Then I go over and peep to see my boss finished with her presentation. Lucky me catch them at a good time... they all finish and ready to take the tour. Hooray, I can pack up and go home. Almost have to book a cab to get out of Jurong Island. Lucky, got a free ride from someone. Save me money from taking cab.

This is getting a bit tiring having to chase bus all the time. One month anniversary coming up!

Bought some easy to dry clay at DAISO and kept it until I can reward my girl with this.
This is what I created on the left. Not much imagination... I old already ok... can come out with this also very hard!

On your right, these are created by my girl. She don't know quite how to do it coz the clay really dry very fast. However, I have hand it to her that she manage to do an aeroplane and a basket (the snow man holding to basket). If she got patience, I believe she can do better at the pig even. So after all she do deserve a clap for trying.

Worries

We all remember this
When we were a child, we worry about when we will grow up.

When we all grow up, we worry about if we will get a job

When we got a job, we worry if we will find our the other half

When we are married, we worry about enough money to sustain our lives and family and
paying bills after bills after house morgage

THEN

We start to worry about having children and paying more bills then ever

When we have children, we worry about are they having enough to eat

We worry even more when they start to go school whether they will be doing well in their
studies

We still continue to worry about children growing up and their studies and whether they will
get a good job and survive in this competitive WORLD

AND

You say... 'I don't worry!' That is an understatment and thus my name is also a worrymom!

Anguish - Can I just get my medicine and go home?

Was fill with anger today!

I ran out of anti-biotics and was told by the doctor that I could get the prescribe anti-biotics at eh Pharmacy. So thought that I could drop by the Jurong East branch to get it since I am going that way. Damn! Pharmacist not around so nobody to assist me to get my prescribe medicine. So guess I have to go to the one at Causeway Point. Then went there, counter show pharmacist went for dinner and won't be back at certain time. I got angry. What the HELL! There is only one pharmacist can't they at least have another one to be on stand by? Then I was telling the sales assistant. This is really poor service! No choice have to wait. HELL if I won't so desperate to take this medication, I would have stomp off and forget it. When the pharmacist did come back my face was black with no smile coz there were two ladies ahead of me asking questions when I only want my medicine. I am holding the prescrption ... saying in my heart 'Can you just give me my medicine so that I can be on my way home!' I just want to get and go!

I shouldn't blame the Pharmacist and I keep telling myself this. Her company should hire another one and do shift work. I almost can't control my temper and was about to blow into flames of fire. Then my turn, she was nice and told me not to take the anti-biotics with iron coz it weakens the strength of the medication. In addition, she also remind me that if after complete course don't cure, I need to get help as she say this medicine is considered very strong. So after hearing all this, my temper tone down. She was helpful even though my face was black.

MobTV

I recently subscribe to MobTV in hope to watch those missed shows I like watching. To think that I can download and save it and watch over and over again. However, I was wrong! Sent an e-mail to ask MobTV if my subscription ends can I still watch the show. Below is their reply

===================
As all MOBTV videos are acquired and licensed from the content provider and/or copyright owners, you can view the videos as long as:
(a) you have a valid Subscription plan and with the correct package; and
(b) the content title must not have expired yet. Once a title has expired, you'll not be able to view the show even if you still have a valid Subscription plan.

For point (a), if your subscription is over, you do not have the licensing rights to view them as the ability to watch is tied to the Subscription period.
==================
So my review about MobTV, better go watch it while it last the subscription. In the first place if I need to download to watch what for I still need to be subscribe to view it? I might as well watch it on stream. Also, no need to waste time download the software download manager. My final comment about this is MobTV ... IT SUCKS! Pay subscription just to watch again and again the same move ain't worth it. Waste money!

Bus 715

Yesterday was a good trip back taking the usual timing for Bus 715. Afew of the guys have voice out the driver is driving too slow and needs to speed up. So yesterday's trip back to Jurong East Interchange from Jurong Island Checkpoint took 15 mins. The driver finally diverted this way into the Jurong East Interchange. Still, we continue to joke why not just let us down at the bus stop and we walk in don't take the hassle to turn in - talking to the driver. Then at the junction to turn into Jurong East Interchange, there was a jam. So someone say... go driver uncle don't scared, they will give way to you coz you driving big bus. Hahaha... I laughed out loud too. Not forgetting too I also did take part and talking out loud 'STEP ON IT!' when he approaching the junction of Jurong East Interchange. I noticed that he always like to slow down at junction when it is green light. Before we all know it, the traffic light turns amber and he step on the brakes to stop. Sigh and we are stuck at the traffic for another few minutes again. That is why taking his bus is so annoying. I know he wants to be careful but we are all in the a hurry to get home. End of the ride, we even joke about the driver asking him to drive us nearer to the MRT station so save us from having to walk such great distance. It was a FUNNY RIDE! Hope today the improved will keep up.

Lipton Tea Receipe

Tomorrow there is a meeting and I am required to make a flask of coffee and a flask of tea for the guest.

Coffee is easy coz they got the coffee machine. Thanks to that... Muah!

Tea... scratch head and finally found the Tea receipe below. Thank God!

So here it goes, next time no need to look at Lipton Tea site for tea receipe.

http://askville.amazon.com/looove-McDonalds-Sweet-Tea-make/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=3014389

============
McDnonal's recipe is based on the traditional southern sweet tea
here are a few recipes:
12-15 servings
10 min 5 min prep
3 lipton family-size tea bags
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
8 cups boiling water

Boil about 8 cups water.
Add 3 family (large) size tea bags and steep for 3-5 minutes. You can also use 8 small regular sized tea bags.
Mix concentrated hot tea with 1 3/4 cup sugar and stir well in tea pitcher.
Add cold water and stir to combine.

#2
Bring 3-4 cups of water to a boil. Add a pinch of baking soda to the water and add 3 family sized tea bags. Remove from heat and cover. Allow to sit for at least 10-15 minutes. Pour into gallon pitcher and add 1 1/2 cups sugar. Then fill with cold water. Refrigerate.
*the soda takes out the bitterness and darkens the tea....this small amount doesnt change the taste.

#3
2-3 family size tea bags, bring them to a boil in about 10 cups of water (a new, clean coffee pot works great for brewing tea), then heat off, let the tea sit for about an hour. then add 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar, the brewed tea, and finish filling the gallon pitcher with water.
