a RELAXING Day

After so long, finally I am able to relax and do the list of things pending. Besides housework, there seems to be tons of things I haven't quite get to yet and now have the time. For one thing, I get to borrow Hong Kong movies which is pending on my list to watch. Haiz ... a bit of low of funds this month but yet still squeeze to get this.

One thing thought of the mind, I wanted to get something good from Watson but a bit too late for the 30% offer as they are out of it already There goes the Great Singapore Sale which is coming to an end.

Save .... save ...times are getting bad now. Inflation is coming. So time to go relax before it is time for me to pull my wisdom tooth next week.

Too Good to be True

An ad came through the company fax and it says you can earn up to 4.5K a month working from home. In this ad, they also added their website on getting you to go there and read. Curiously enough, I went to visit their side knowingly that this is too good to be true. As the saying goes there is no free lunch, it applies to this ad. So what is it all about? It tells you the number of sucessful testimonals and also say how good this scheme is. Most of all it says... don't waste time start now.

Meaning of term "Colleagues" & "Friends"

Sometime back I happen to visit the clinic near home due to some common flu I have and couldn't rid of it. While I was waiting for my turn to see the doctor, I over heard the nurses complaining about their colleague. Nothing new! Who do not complain about terrible colleagues they have to endure working with? I for one, been enduring for the past five months. So not like I want to be a busy body but they did speak out loud about it.

So what is the meaning behind the term "Colleague" and the term "Friends"? Well, for the colleague part we always want to phase it this way when you happen to work with someone with a terrible character in nature and always torturing someone else for some apparent reason. Like as if it is their thrill to do it. Notice the horns on their head if you know what I mean. People like this you never ever want to classify them under the "Friends" list even after you leave the company. Even more, you would want to even forget you even come across this nasty colleague ever! For this reason, you would want to use the "Colleague" or "X-Colleague".

On the other hand, "Friends" this is something special, you want to classify your good colleagues that you get along well with under this category! They are someone you enjoy not only working with but also when you leave the company, you would still remember to keep in touch very much with.

So if someone ask you, "Hey is that your friend?" Think again and see is the person, you like or dislike and classify them the correct term.

Bad Day!

Ok... started this morning with a bad day!

You thought that Singapore Service Level is bad enough and could not go any worst. However, I just met someone from MAS that has made himself a statistic contribution to our Singapore POOR Labeled for Service Level. So what happen? I left a message unable to reach this JERK and when he finally return call, he is outright RUDE to the core and not only that .. and have the cheek to remark me for talking fast. So its a message so what you want me to do? Tell you a story going slow motion? You don't know messages can be rewind if you can't hear the message? Sorry I think you an idiot who do not know how to use the rewind function. Ok .. so I say ok after listening his remark and then I told him " you are also RUDE" and slam the phone. I am appalled and also disgusted by his RUDE behavior and how MAS hire people like him to serve their customers. It is outright sad that they have employee like that to contribute to our poor service level. Like as if Singapore Service Level statistics not doing bad enough and we have another one to add to this statistics.

The Great Singapore Sale

The Great Singapore Sale has started some time ago and almost coming to an end. This year I haven't bought the things on my list. Been busy and waiting for a new job to come along before I spent the money to buy.

Anyway, today I spent 30 bucks on something real worth buying and I have been waiting and also aiming for since The Great Singapore Sale. What is it? It is Arther Yen's clothes. I don't usually for go this brand neither am I crazy for this brand. Just why I want to aim for this is becoz I happen to see that this brand have clothes that are in the material I like most. Very comfortable. Besides, the usual price of the dress cost $89.00 and now at $30.00 I say go for it. This is DIRT CHEAP and only comes once in a year. So I bought it! Lucky thing is they have my size. I procrastinate to buy so long and almost didn't get this.

Toys for Rent

I recently found this site in one of my favorite Forum I always visit to. Thanks to the person for this info!

Well, looking at this site, they have tons of stuff for rent. The most important is not really the toys I find it is more like the Breast Feeding machine. I know some may be particular about using second hand Breast Feeding machine due to hygiene purposes but who cares? Wash it clean or sterilize it clean that should be good enough then having to buy one that cost at most 500 bucks or more fo a pretty good one. Still end of the day, if you do buy that Breast Feeding kit and when you are done with Breast Feeding your child, you still have the hassle to find a buyer to sell out to. I am pretty sure none of you may be so kind as to give it away for free coz you spent so much on it? It is generally HUMAN NATURE. Don't feel guilty about it coz we are only HUMANS!

Retire Dream

Recently I have been seeing other people's resume. Don't ask me why. I noticed that some were at their 50s and still working or hunting for job. This bugs me and make me wonder at that age would I be also one hunting for job.

Well, my dream to retire is to having my own small business. Doing what? I have always wanted to sew for people. I love sewing. Sad to say that this is a dieing trade in Singapore. Not many have left doing this. The reason being that nowadays clothes can be imported dirt cheap in China, Indonesia and Taiwan. So who would want to get it tailored made. Besides this is Singapore. If you do not know about Sinaporeans, they don't purchase offline much what they can't touch or even try. Singaporeans are just like that. Some lack of trust perhaps and plus the "30 days guaranteed" system doesn't really work for them. No matter, I am still planning for a good retirement dream.

Job Hunt Again

After torturing myself for such long time, I again resign and be an outcast again. Not like to choose to be like that. At first, when I left Chartered, I wanted to go over this place to try and see. After all they are paying me well. I would real be IDIOT if I don't try it. There was some uncomfortable feeling I already foresee but somehow I try pushing it back thinking that it will pass. However, after four months it still plague me like a disease. This has caused me to fall into xxx ... Finally this has been all over. I pray hard that I will find another job in which I would be happy working there.

Ok .. here is the reason for really leaving this place.

1. This is a construction industry, I have never like this industry and even though I try, I fail badly in this test

2. ok.. I am a Secretary here. The powerful person around this place but I am like a mouse. Hmmmm what is wrong with the picture? That is because a young chump think she senior have control everything lor. Everybody like always giving her way. That is so self centered and totally selfish of her.

3. They always eat expensive lunch. Not Subway then Ichiban or Swenson or Long John Silver or even some other place that at least cost $10.00 for a lunch. Hey, although I earn a lot don't mean I want to spend my money so lavishly like that hor. Then, they never even care to ask if I would like to eat this. They just decide. Of course lah coz most of them are single... single no need to save for rainy days what

4. Lady boss say that her team is good. Ok... this I will have to put here... Hmmm not really, team work they not really have that team work... at least not to me.. they only work around themselves. Many times I seem to get that " This is not my problem" attitude. You call this team work? NO!

5. Last but not least, if you have been reading my blog, my male boss is also funny. Like to surprise me with difficult task. Something that I have to ponder long enough to solve the problem. Boss.. I old already I don't want to go with my life working for you this way. I'd like to do something more of a routine and no obstacles... no strength to climb anymore.

6. We all have to share office keys! I hate this problem here. Secretary no keys to office. I can make one but what for having keys if you have to lift to go up to the office. Oh yeah the lift here needs a special card before you can use it. Why? IT IS A CONDO! Home studio office. Ley Chey
