The Great Singapore Sale

Every Year Singapore has this Sale event in which tourist won't miss so does Singaporeans like me. The sale event is well known as "The Great Singapore Sale".

This event always takes place during May - Jul every year. Do a search in Google to see when every year it starts. This year The Great Singapore Sale starts on 23 May and stretches up to 20 Jul. However, don't even wait to the very last moment coz by then most sale have already ended with nothing much left to pick from. Sometimes some shops might even start the sale early by a week or two. So during this time have to keep close watch on.

Here goes my Shopping List for every year this time event.

1. Top up on cosmetics - which includes facial mask, bio-essence repair serum and many more good products
2. Look for nice yet cheap clothes - This year specially look out for brand clothes to see got on sale coz I particularly like the material they use
3. Look out for cheap children clothings too

And I will look out for more good stuff out there. However for now the list is keep it short and value for money stuff

Obstacles @ Work

This year hasn't been starting out right! Perhaps I am superstitious but there are obstacles coming towards me one after another.

Again, this time I have given another challenge I HATE to over come. Well, it is to call the ex-colleague to ask something. What the HELL, I doubt the person know. Anyhow, I still go ahead and call. Not that I want to anyway but just to do as I was told to by my boss who rely so much on ex-colleagues. This has made me think if I leave this company should I change my mobile number too to avoid having to call me to ask me this and that in which I can't keep track of. Still, he ask me to go find something in which I do not have the records. I try looking over internet but couldn't find the exactly same thing. This is not my fault that their records are not being kept properly. I seem to be the one always having to solve other's people left behind problems and coping with the unnecessary stress over how to deal with situation like this. This is so UNNECESSARY ! That is what I mean by running into streak of Bad Luck!

Continue to PRAY as the days goes along. How long can I really last!

Company Benefits

Recently someone talk to me about how good the company benefits are so it ponder me that I should talk about how you define good company benefits.

Frankly speaking, there isn't a perfect company that really provides benefits that fits everybody needs. Some how or rather there bound to be some benefits in which you won't agree with, while there are also others that you enjoy having and/or wish to have.

Some benefits in which I have come across is :

1. They reimburse you for medical by a certain amount. But if they are going to reimburse you anyway, why don't they reimburse the full amount? Still, it would really even be better if they also reimburse your spouse medical. However, most of time you won't see this happening except it only applies to the management level and above.


2. Day offs on your birthday. This I really would like to have but some how never come across this ever in companies I join.


3. Leaves - some have 14 days no matter how long you work. I for one would really like to have my leave increase say after working 2 years straight with a company by perhaps 2 days more? Then I have never come across one that really does that after 2 years. However, I do come across one that make you clear your first half of the leave and second half of the leave by certain periods. What would be good is that companies should encourage those who do not take leave to pay them back. Afterall, we have workacholics too here you know.


4. Buying insurance for employees. This looks good have but doesn't really serve a purpose if you are not in the construction line. However, what about those who don't go to the construction site? Doesn't have any use for them.


5. Medical Leave - this is quite standard 14 days. I come across this benefits that say if you take less then 2 days of leave they will re-imburse you an amount at the end of the year. Sound good. Seem attractive but then wouldn't it be encouraging those who in need of money to bring their germs to work and spread them to others coz they want to earn that amount?


6. Company Share - this may be good to have. Why I say good to have is becoz that is if the company share is doing really well. If it isn't doesn't serve any good to even have part of the company share.

Well guess that is about what I have to say about when comes to company benefits. Some have while others don't. Care to share your views about what benefits you come across that are not being listed?

Difficult Task

Lately, I have been assigned by my boss to do a difficult task. You figure that a Secretary need not have to do this but somehow it wasn't by choice. So what were the difficult task? Well, it was to make calls to people. I have to catch those people at a good time which is the evening time where they are off from their busy schedule and relaxing at home.

Started off well. Thank God I would say! Suddenly came to one as I expected that would ask the "e" question! Sigh ... guess it would happen. This is SINGAPORE and when it comes to SINGAPOREAN... they are known to be typical. Sorry to those out there! No Offense but I think you would agree that Singaporeans sometimes are typical.

Now, I have to go nag at my boss. Tough luck for me ! Working life ... Sigh .. and small companies ... they just isn't easy.

Hmmm wonder if I still can last. POSITIVE thoughts is what I put in my head for NOW!

3 months probation is up next week and confirmation letter not here! So I have to make it come true myself but no thanks to the in co-operative person who not refuse me of my confirmation letter but not willing to work with me to allow me to get my confirmation letter. Wow liao do you have to wait to the last minute then give me meh? Hate this type of people who have this type of working attitude! They simply don't understand that if the confirmation comes late, means that the company don't value the people and also means the people cannot enjoy the benfits. Why must people like this deny other people pleasure of the confirmation.

I ain't very happy working here but I just waiting for time to fly until it is the right time! Don't EVER test my patience! I have LIMITED of it! Beware of my WRATH!

3 month probation is almost up

Well time have certainly fly. I have left Chartered for so long :)!

My 3 month probation is almost up here! 6 more days is be exact and that is what I told my male boss "You have one more week to decide if you want me to stay!" Hahhaha to that!

My review about the environment here! It start up with a bad start with so many things going on here since I join. Seem to have settle down a bit but some how still not perfect as I guess it would be. I have lost some confidence during the time here due to some reason I must not indicate here in the blog coz nothing here is secret! Hhahha

To my review, colleagues are getting use to me. Damn they better be! Anyway, I have plans coming along the way. If plans not going well, I may not stay here for long. The stressful part about working is not the work nor the phone calls I recieve everyday nor the colleagues here nor having to take the correct messages. It is more like a human being thing. I personally feel that being stress over this small thing is really bo liao (hokkien). Can overcome? My answer is unlikely unless she don't come into the office at all. No matter, I still take one day at a time until I cannot tahan.

Meanwhile, this blog will be my main support in hearing me nag on and on about life situation here. No doubt I will still continue to add views about other stuff. Keep reading onz ... :)

20 & 21 Treatment - CITISPA

Didn't quite have the time to update the last two treatments.

Well weight almost the same = 59.42kg.

They tried to ask me to renew but I wasn't interested as I have spent too much time and money in fact on this. I have reduce my stomache in which I am very happy that I look more sexy now. That is all my aim and not try to reduce my weight.

Tomorrow will be my 22th treatment and the very last one from CITISPA
