About MRT

Singapore fastest train to anywhere here is MRT also known as Mass Rapid Transit. 10 over years ago, when MRT just started not long, when you travel by it, you can feel the cold air in your face and actually enjoy your ride to anywhere.

Today's MRT, especially during the early morning rush hours when people try to get to work, you can hardly feel the cold air in your face. What you actually feel is either the body odour or bad breath of some people's mouth. What is even worst is when someone fart, you can actually faint. Still, not forgetting if the train doesn't turn on the air-condition high enough, you feel like you are about to PUKE or FAINT.

Singapore have come to a stage where we are populated with people. These population don't really come from Singaporean alone. They come from all over the country of some which includes foreigners, and expats. So many people travelling by MRTs these days that the MRTs is always packed with people until the face can stick to the door just to get into the train to get to work. People area also pushing to get into the train even when there is no more space. Even when the next scheduled train comes in 2 mins, the MRT is also packed with people. As if you don't know if we are all clones coz the crowd never ends.

Then again, when evening hits, there is another rush hour again. Rushing to hit home to rest for the day! Again the MRTs are packed with people from all over. Still, frequency of the trains doesn't really help. Again the cycle goes all over again like during morning rush hours. For this reason, I always carry a medicated oil which in any case, somebody fart, some terrible smell, some bad breath, I would not PUKE or FAINT.

Ok ... some of the heavy crowds that people board MRTs are at Choa Chu Kang, Toa Payoh, and Ang Mo Kio. People get off the most is Jurong East (change train mah) Doby Ghaut (change train mah) , Orchard Road (office area mah), Raffles Place (another office area) , and City Hall (change train and also another office area).
