Everyday I pass by this taxi stand near Admiralty MRT and on some days I saw an x-colleague Don Wang standing there waiting for a cab. I ask myself why is he waiting for a cab; thinking he is still in the x-company I was in. I haven't been in touch with him for quite sometime. Why? Read on to find out why!
On many occassions it ever came across my mind to walk to him and say a "Hello" and even find out about how the other colleagues I concern about are doing but somehow I changed my mind. For one thing why I change was that.... it's morning peak hour and rushing for work.. where got time! Anyway, what really hit me most I once read in this word of wisdom book, it states that friends come and go all the time so don't be so worked up about it if they leave you behind. It tells me to move on! This statment have been kept in my mind all along and thus I walked away instead of even saying "Hello". Besides, they chose to believe in the "someone" who have hurt me bad. They chose to believe in her words against mine and never took the time of the day to even keep in touch with me nor hear my side out. Guess... they took her words against mine. Sad but guess it is also good in which allows me to cut off the memory from the past and really move on without hanging in the past. Guess you call that blessing in disguise? I do!
