For Poor Mommy

Dear friend,

No need to rush home to cook balance meal for your kids. You can only do so much! The only thing you cooked is that they don't come with msg that is good enough. Try to cook one dish meals. They get their nutrients and you also don't tire yourself out.

Here are some ideas for you.

Fried Rice
Claypot Chicken Rice
Chicken Rice
Bak Kut Teh
Spaghetti put a can of campell mushroom over spaghetti and you are done
Porridge
Cook soup with slow cooker then put Udong in and you are done

Most of all use timer to set time on slow cooker before you leave the house. Then when you reach home you have hot rice.

I am open if you need recipe (Sorry this applies to Poor Mommy only hor ;)!

No Respect for other ppl's area

Sigh .. working with youngsters really a pain in the butt!

First thing in the morning, instead of consulting me if I want those ads coming through the fax, that girl throw it away. I have to go pick those up from the trash. Lunch time didn't join them either as I really do not want to have the feeling that I am not wanted. Still, I have to like talk nicely to her. I seem to feel so low about working here with people like that :(

Anyway, I also notice that I have been treated like transparent. They work with me seem to be a torture for them. To HELL to them man! I could care less about what is going on. End of the day I just leave the office with my job complete.

Monday morning

Its Monday morning 8:15am of 25 Feb 2008. I got no keys to office and have to wait for the gatekeeper of the office who comes late to arrive. So went to Bukit Panjang Plaza to have my morning breakfast since I arrive near my workplace, also at Bukit Panjang. Yum Yu, Burp! Tasty! Nothing left when I am done with it

OK.. still early... so stare at other people working. Look they are polishing the floor. Didn't know they do that at Kopitiam. So I took a snap shot of this to show while some of us rushing for work, people like them cleaning up the place.

Office Desk Feng Shui

I normally do not believe in Feng Shui things but some how my career luck hasn't all that great either. Especially, my desk has always been located next to the door and with no walls behind me. This is already a bad sign according to the Feng Shui article I found.

According to this article, you can actually make it better although you can't really move the desk to somewhere else nor change desk with your colleagues. Here are some tips to ease the Feng Shui at your office to improve the well being in your career.

Positive energy can be attracted to the desk by placing five elements that attract work luck. These elements should be placed according to the Lo Shu grid. This is how things should be placed:
» North: Your cup of coffee or tea
» Northeast: Crystal paperweight
» Northwest: Computer terminal
»East: Fresh flowers
» Southeast: Small green plant
» South: Desk lamp or something red
» West: Golden Ingot
