On leave

Today took leave away from work to go for the annual regular check up after giving birth. In addition, nothing new that I have never said before. Leave are always a day for me to really make full use of it.

So here the checklist which I actually get to:

- Meet up with my x-colleague after left touch for four months

- Head down to bank to bank stuff (lucky not so crowded, one thing I like about weekdays doing banking) Almost trip when entering the door way to the bank. Good thin bank has two different ques (Personal & Corporate)

- Almost forgot to add to my list to get to is to drop by the favorite Japanese Bookstore in Ngee Ann City Takashimaya. Very close in not recalling this as to have to do. Was happy I remembered and I bought two magazine.

- Time slipping by me... running out of time gotta hit the Reference Library which is up in my list to check out some important year books in my list. Damn... didn't know the reference library was so damn big! B I G mistake didn't take the lift and didn't ask the receptionist which floor I should go. So I ended up taking the escalator 3 levels before I give up and took the lift instead

- more time slip by as I take time to look through the microfilm. Almost late for my appointment. Quickly finish up with the photo copy. Uncle please don't interrupt this uncle from photo copy for me. Then rush down to catch a cab. Hail and hail no taxi... wow everybody still take taxi leh.... perhaps its tourist who hogging taxis... and pray to GOD please send me a taxi and there came one. THANK YOU GOD! Late for 15 mins appointment

- After seeing the doctor, spent half an hour waiting for medication. Don't ask why!

- Hit Church to do some prayers and buy some things

- Last stop go buy stuff for girl

Things in which I didn't quite get to:

- Hit Spotlight to buy some craft stuff

- Run errands

- Buy the photo paper for company use

Jesus Love Me Lyrics

Lately I have been listening to Hyms. I especially love this song title "Jesus Love Me". It kinds of soothe me when I am down. I wanted to know the exact lyrics to this song and did a search over the internet and found this list of lyrics to be very interesting.

http://www.dltk-bible.com/jesus_loves_me.htm

I particularly like the followings:

  • (Thanks to Eric L. Zancanella 2001 for creating these verses and sharing them with us!)
Jesus hears the prayers I groan, Speaks for me at our God’s throne; His love helps me to comply, Yes, the Lord is my supply.
Yes, Jesus loves me!Yes, Jesus loves me!Yes, Jesus love me!The Bible tells me so.
  • (Thanks to the viewer who recently sent us this verse!)
I love Jesus, does He know?Have I ever told Him so?Jesus likes to hear me say,That I love Him every day!Yes, I love Jesus!Yes, I love Jesus!Yes, I love Jesus! In prayer I tell Him so.
  • Jesus loves me when I'm good. When I do the things I should. Jesus loves me when I'm bad, but it makes him oh so sad.Yes, Jesus loves me!Yes, Jesus loves me!Yes, Jesus loves me!The Bible tells me so.

Fourth Month into new J O B

Into my fourth month and counting the number of days in the new company. Seem fast seem slow.. not really sure how you should put it. Anyhow, I got my confirmation like I wanted and the increment I am happy with. However, still I seem to be missing something in this. What do I really mean? Missing the job satisfaction I am actually looking for.

What I don't really like about this current job. I spent most of my time picking up phones and relaying messages. Hate having to take messages and relaying them. Not a real challenge to me. Still, I have to write plenty of e-mails to customers also not really what I want in a job. You think this part will be a challenge. Yeah I thought so too! However, it is only that one sentence or two that says here goes the quote you need. Of course I didn't write that exactly ! Then again I make phone calls and many phone calls ... my day goes on like that making phone calls ... Then there is the annoying part about matching up invoice. NO it so not matching with the delivery orders is having to verify it. This is the annoying part in which I can't go on any further saying about it.

Well, I do admit that I am fussy and who isn't? If we are all not fussy, we will settle in whatever drops onto our lap wouldn't we? The real good part about this job that keeps me here is the $$$$

Lunch with Hubby

This is a good day to record this as my memory starts to fade.

Well, first time in history that I married to my husband for many years - try 10 years he call me out for lunch.

You have no idea that this meant a lot to me! Even though it was eating lunch at a coffee shop but it doesn't really matter with me. If you have read my blog, it doesn't really matter where you eat it is whom you eat with. Even if it means eating at the staircase of some unknown place.

Thank you hubby

Goodbye to my favorite Won-Ton Mee Stall

There goes my favorite Won-Ton Mee stall that taste so good especially the noodle. They just cook the noodle the way I like. Just like the way Hong Kong restaurants cook it. Their last day of business is 30 Apr 2008.
So where was this Won-Ton stall at? Next to my working place in an old coffee shop. My working place is at The Linear at Bukit Panjang. So sad... no more tasty won-ton coming from this stall.
The funny part is the lady boss told me to look out for their sign board. But just only notice after eating at their stall so long, where is the sign board? So how can I find them again? No one really knows as they have no plans to rent a place yet. They are taking a break.
A-DIEU my won-ton mee! Till I see you again some where in Singapore.
